BESPOKE GRAPHIC ART
PARKMEAD GROUP CANVASES
A set of bespoke canvases designed for Parkmead Group Plc to represent their business in gas and oil.
THE BRIEF
Parkmead Group Plc approached me for some bespoke vector style artworks for their offices in Regent Street in London. The brief was simply to make eye catching art which represents their business in gas and oil. Parkmead also wanted to include within the designs that their business was based in London.
THE SOLUTION
The machinery and methods which are used to extract and store gas and oil could only be described as beautifully ugly. These monster structures had architecture that was hard to ignore when looking for the answer in this brief. The chambers traditionally used for storing the gas has been translated into the famous London skyscraper, 30 St Mary Axe, more commonly known as ‘The Gherkin’.
